Hug Bann Thai is officially my favorite Thai restaurant ???????? — the flavors, freshness, and presentation are always spot on. They make the best drunken noodles. From savory curries to perfectly balanced stir-fries, every bite is a treat. And of course, their mango sticky rice is the perfect sweet ending! #HugBannThai #ThaiFoodLover #FavoriteSpot

I'm not sure this was the Thai place we thought we were looking for, but, I'm so glad this was where we went. The place is a delight from the minute you walk in. Friendly staff, pleasantly decorated, and GREAT, very delicious food. Can't wait to try some other dishes. The spice levels seem like a true Thai range (un-Americanized), so, mild was good for me and the hot for my dinner companion...well, the glow on his brow attested that it really was...and he likes it that way!

Hug baan Thai aka Sala Thai Was this place renamed? Was Sala Thai. New owner. New name. Been here one time. Wow! Very nice decor! The chairs are incredibly beautiful. Great Thai food. One of the best in the area. Nice workers. Just too far from where I live. Good Thai papaya salad. Michigan has a large community of Thai people so seeing this kind of restaurant is good. Excellent restaurant. Hands down! Highly recommended

I visited Hug Baan for a late lunch, and this was my first visit. The ambiance was amazing, and the service was impeccable.we ordered a spring roll, egg curry fried rice, and vegetarian drunken noodles. They offered us 2 extra spring rolls as complimentary. The spice level was on point. We loved the fried rice, but the noodles were just overcooked, clumped together, and just badly done, something you would not expect at a Thai place . The texture was throwing me off. Could be a one time problem. I would like to give them the benefit of doubt. Other that the noodles problem, the taste and everything else was good.

I can’t say enough good things about this cute Thai Restaurant. I love Thai food so in general that doesn’t even count because pretty much anywhere I go I will enjoy it. But the service went above and beyond assisting me with my meal. The waitress asked me how spicy I want it and I told her mild. That was my fault. It was too hot and I couldn’t eat it and they brought me a second plate of the same dish without the spice No questions asked and no additional charge. As soon as you walk through the door, you can see how lovely everything is set up and decorated. Susie, one of the owners, has fresh flowers, and new decoration set up for every season or holiday. It has a pleasing atmosphere, which is why I go there if I want to totally unwind They highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy Thai food, and personal attention.

Update: they improved in service, atmosphere, newly fresh decoration, wonderful quick customer service and more importantly, the pad Thai was absolutely phenomenal. Hence updating the rating from 4 to 5 star. Food and service is wonderful. Highly recommend Decent food, cool environment. Tried twice and spice was perfect and flavorful food Sterling height location close to highway and huge parking lot. Wide menu halal items make this popular restaurant
